ACADEMY SYLLABUS

Academy has framed its own syllabus and it has been divided into five levels. The syllabus is being framed according to the syllabus of the Lower and Higher exams conducted by the Government of Tamilnadu. For the convenience of the students in the academy, the curriculum has been made very special, easy and unique.

EXAMS

Children who have passed their8th grade and who are capable of singing well are made to appear for Lower Exams conducted by the Government of Tamilnadu and Children who have passed their 10th grade are made to appear for the Higher Exams conducted by the Government of Tamilnadu. Also Terminal Exams are being conducted in this institution itself, thus checking the student’s ability and improvement in developing their music knowledge.

EDUCATIONAL TOUR

Every year students are taken to various religious places and are made to perform music concerts over there, thus improving the divine culture and tradition.

MUSICAL CONCERTS

The institution offers very good opportunities for the students to perform on all nine days of Navarathri at various templates and to sing Thiruppavai and Thiruvembavai in the Tamil month of Margazhi and to sing Sathguru Sri Thyagarajar’s Kruthis during the days of Sri Rama Navami.

MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES

Media opportunities are given to students who have shown an excellent performance. They are given chances to sing with Guru Shri Hyderabad B.Siva, in various television channels on various occasions such as Navarathri, Margazhi etc. Students are also given opportunities to perform individually in various television channels on various occasions.

CULTURAL ETHICS

Uniforms and ID cards have been given to students and are asked to wear during concerts and academy functions. South Indian Traditional dress code is being allowed for regular classes too.

MUSIC CAMPS

Every year free music camps are arranged for students on account of “Vyasa Poornima” and “Krishna Jayanthi Celebration” not only for the benefit of the students, but also for the parents and other music lovers. Every year a topic is being selected and musicians excelling in the field of music are being made to come and teach songs to the students on the prescribed topic. These efforts have become a grand success with the help, support and co-operation rendered by the Students, Parents and music lovers.

ACADEMY EVENTS

Every year, competitions are conducted for all students of the academy and the deserving students are honoured with prizes. Competitions are also being conducted for the parents and “Prizes of appreciation” is given to all parents. Many sponsors and Particularly “Parent Sponsors” institute “Memorial Awards” in the name of their elderly parents or well-wishers which give great financial help to the academy for its annual day celebration.

TEACHER TRAINING

Academy not only produces singers but also music teachers. It is a great pleasure in sharing, that we have chosen 10 of our senior students as teachers, where Guru Shri. Hyderabad Dr. B. Siva feels that Teachers profession becomes a great success only when he produces students of higher standards.

ANNUAL DAY

Every Year Annual day is conducted by the academy at grand scale with the help and support rendered by the parents & well – wishers. Many sponsors supports for the successful conduct of the Annual day. Music giants are invented for the function and they are honoured. Special performance is being given by the senior students of the academy. The prizes for the music competition conducted by the academy are given by the Chief guests and their blessings are being showered to the young budding artists. Every year “BEST STUDENT AWARD” is being awarded to the students of Std 10, 12 and final year degree students. Full attendance certificate is awarded to students having 100% Attendance in all classes and events conducted by the academy.

It is only due to the support and co-operation rendered by the parents of the Academy, that Hyderabad Dr.B. Siva has been able to successfully conduct the classes give concerts simultaneously.
